Q: Why can some characters openly swear, while others are censored?

A: There's plot-specific reasons several characters can't swear. Shizamablock, as seen above, cannot swear because all the characters of PC/MS were borne out of discarded data. Part of Shizamablock's data is comprised of a censored "gangster rap" MP3, most likely ripped off a CD purchased at a Wal-Mart type store. Metallic Spheroid, meanwhile, swears in binary and Cruton swears openly, and has done so several times. You'll find out who the other vulgarity-impaired characters are later.

Q: Why is there not a lot of swearing?

A: I tried that once(go to 008: Things Go Boom). It left a bad taste in my mouth then, and continues to do so. Gratitous vulgarities just aren't my thing. However, there's plenty of places you can go to see that sort of thing, so it's not like it's an untapped market.
